Medical History
Medical history is important to our office because oral health and overall health are closely connected. Please let Brandon Smiles know if you have any medical conditions that may impact your treatment plan such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or artificial heart valves & joints.
If you are unsure about your complete medical history or do not have access to it, rest assured that our experienced dental professionals will still provide you with the best possible treatment. Our team is trained in the proper assessments and imaging to empower our doctors to give you quality care.
Comprehensive list of medications - examples include heart medications, aspirin, antihistamines, and decongestants. This information is useful to our team because these medicines can affect your saliva, gum health, cause dry mouth or ulcers, and more.
Prepare a list of questions - One of our top Brandon doctors will be happy to review and answer any concerns you might have about the state of your teeth, and if there are any current issues you’d like addressed - such as tooth or gum pain, bad breath, or stained/yellow teeth.
Please note: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18.
Don’t be afraid to call us with any questions you might have before your new patient appointment, or if you need directions in the Brandon area.
